Welcome to Chelsea and Declan’s Grosvenor Pulford Hotel Chester wedding blog. This being my first introduction as a Grosvenor Pulford Hotel Chester wedding photographer and I must say I absolutely loved it. Yes it did rain non-stop all day bar 5 minutes of respite but did that bother anyone on this happy occassion, not a jot!. Did we get the most awesome portrait photos of this fanatastic bride and groom, you bet we did! This venue works a treat for wedding photos in all seasons. WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY FOR EVERLASTING MEMORIES

Chelsea and Declan fell in love with my photography from the first moment they saw my website portfolio and after a lovely consultation over the phone, both knew they had made the right choice for their Grosvenor Pulford Hotel Chester wedding photographer. WEDDING at the Grosvenor Hotel in Pulford

The day started as usual with bride and groom preparation photos. Everybody and everything is photographed to record the day perfectly from start to finish. If there are children at your wedding, they love to pose for me and find it great fun with the camera, so during bridal prep, candid images are taken with a couple of posed ones towards the end. Declan and the boys were ready in no time for a few photos which is done relatively quickly, before I return to the girls, ready in their dresses. Natural light photography is used the majority of the day with a few specialised portraits thrown into the mix, that will really stand out in your wedding album. Due to the rain these were taken mainly indoors and bride Chelsea beamed with happiness, looking positively radiant in her beautiful white wedding dress. She was very relaxed and posed beautifully outside her room. Later in the day after the ceremony we took group shots around the splendid spiral staircase in the reception area before venturing outside for 10 minutes to explore the tranquil atmosphere and serene beauty of the Japanese garden with it’s ornamental features and impressive bridge. The falling rain drops created circles on the pond and the carp swam elegantly below the surface, making an appearance just in time for the portrait photographs.
