Mottram Hall wedding venue in Cheshire dates back to 1750, a Grade II listed country house and luxury 4 star hotel since the 1940’s,
fuses stunning historic architecture with modern design to create the perfect setting for your wedding photographs.
Surrounded by 270 acres of sweeping lawns and landscaped vistas, a picturesque tree lined driveway leads you to
the magnificent splendour of the Hall itself with it’s beautiful formal gardens and fantastic lake.
PREPARATIONS
My photography packages cover the entire day which allows me to capture your full wedding story.
This will start with bridal preparation. Mottram Hall brides can relax whilst they get ready in one of Mottram Hall’s many luxurious suites.
The elegant rooms are bright, light and spacious, just perfect for the best wedding pictures. After a few minutes with the bride I then nip away for groom preparation which can also incorporate the use of the wonderful Garden Room with it’s huge row of windows, ideal light all year round. The beauty of everyone getting ready on-site is that I can move back and fourth with ease, ensuring I capture every moment and detail of both bride, groom and guests! I liase with staff and the wedding party to ensure a seamless flow of candid photos as well as bespoke portraits with that wow wedding album factor to really impress.
CEREMONY
Being a regular Mottram Hall wedding photographer, I have had the pleasure to photograph ceremonies both inside the fabulous St Andrew’s Suite and outside in the beautiful gardens. This is of course weather dependant and both locations offer different and equally impressive opportunities for stunning photos. The diversity of different places to photograph in and around Mottram Hall makes it a great venue choice to ensure the best in wedding photography. The ever changing light throughout the course of the day and different times of the year is easily adapted to. Perfect for Summer and Winter wedding photography.
NATURAL LIGHT & CREATIVE PHOTOGRAPHY
My photographic approach is relaxed and discreet. I photograph many natural candid moments from a distance with highly specialised photographic equipment that you will be both delighted and surprised to see. I never miss a moment, a story with words missing is not a full story and I see this as a photographic story with images in the place of words. The majority of photos throughout the day are natural. I also offer a portrait session which is as long or as short as you like. This is the time for those beautiful, artistic portraits with that special ‘WOW’ factor! Bright sun, moody skies, golden hour sunsets, the blue light of night, elegant interiors, majestic exteriors are all utilised. Any style can be achieved from bright, airy and modern to romantic ambient and dramatic cinematic.
