Mottram HALL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
BY CHESHIRE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER PAUL BAYBUT
I am so happy to be back again at Mottram Hall as their recommended wedding photographer to photograph a Christmas micro wedding for Meridyth and Christopher.
So here's a massive Whoop!! Whoop!! Out of lockdown and into 3 Tiers...not the yummy tiers on a wedding cake
but the ones that mean weddings can now go ahead.
Now, call me psychic, but I predict a lot of smaller weddings over the next 3 months.
Micro Wedding, Intimate Wedding, Minimony, Elopement. Name it what you will, but all these have one thing in common, they are small and super personal. A small wedding is often much less stressful for couples. It strips the planning process right back to the things that are most important to you as a couple: the people you absolutely want by your side and the experience you want to create for yourselves and your guests.
There is something very relaxed about a small wedding, a lovely warm atmosphere with all the traditional elements.
Meridyth and Christopher's wedding was just like this. A lovely intimate ceremony in front of their closest family. They said their vows which beautifully portrayed a journey of love to those assembled and then exchanged rings. It was a bespoke and personal of occasion, all about the two of them as a couple, their special ceremony....with meaningful vows written by themselves. It couldn't be more special.
I just adore Christmas weddings...in fact I love Christmas....everything about it. Pine smelling trees with glittering baubles, twinkling lights, tinsel, presents under the tree, roaring fires, candles, festive food, Baileys and fizz, family and friends.
Mottram Hall is just the perfect venue for winter weddings and ticks all the boxes... think comfort and warmth with added luxury. A wonderful Christmas wedding venue already beautifully decorated with trees, baubles, candy canes, tinsel, holly and not forgetting the essential mistletoe and much more.
Christmas weddings in 2020 sadly didn't happen for most? But don't despair. Your day will still happen, maybe later, maybe smaller, maybe different...but your love will shine through. You can still plan, dream and organise your Christmas or New Year wedding in 2021 or beyond. You can even get married on Christmas Day if you want!
So..if you feel like me and love Christmas, why not consider having a Fabulously Festive wedding?
If you combine the magic of Christmas with a wedding...I am utterly in my element!
Everyone is feeling the festive love and it's the perfect time of year for a magical celebration.
Twinkling lights, lanterns, candles, crackling fires all surrounded by festive decor and you instantly have the perfect atmosphere! Beautiful, festively romantic imagery surrounds you. Or....be brave and plan an outdoor ceremony. Here you could make sure your guests are warm with blankets and throws, a fire pit, fairy lights in all the trees and a candlelit aisle, surrounded by natural greenery and pine cones....dreamy!
So...does this sound exciting? Are you thinking of having an unforgettable winter ceremony?
I would love to chat about all things Christmassy (and New Year) weddings with you. In the meantime please enjoy a few photos from Meridyth and Christopher's wedding celebration.
A special mention to Annie Richardson - Cheshire Celebrant who I highly recommend for your intimate ceremony. A professional of the highest standard who will write and conduct your ceremony in a way that ensures you celebrate exactly as you wish, with your own personality, style and beliefs included.
