I've photographed many weddings at Peckforton Castle and know the venue, its grounds and its light extremely well. I photograph the day as it unfolds, alongside considered editorial portraits that make full use of the castle's architecture, interiors and surrounding landscape.

EXPERIENCE MATTERS AT PECKFORTON

Peckforton Castle is one of Cheshire's most distinctive wedding venues - and one I know extremely well from photographing many weddings here over the years.

It's also a venue where experience makes a difference. The dramatic interiors can be dark, the light changes considerably between rooms, and the best locations vary with the weather and time of day. Knowing the castle means I can work quickly, use the right locations at the right time and let you spend more of your wedding day with your guests rather than disappearing for photographs.

From preparations and the ceremony through to the drinks reception, portraits, speeches and evening celebrations, most of the day is photographed as it naturally happens. When we do step away for portraits, I keep it relaxed and purposeful — creating a small number of stronger editorial images without hours of posing.

I know the Great Hall, Drawing Room, Hexagonal Room, Wine Cellar, Chapel, staircases, courtyard and surrounding grounds, giving us plenty of options whatever the weather or lighting conditions.

Paul was absolutely amazing! He photographed our wedding at Peckforton castle and captured every moment to the fullest. He was patient, very understanding and worked tirelessly all day for us! His hard work and knowledge were evident as photos are simply stunning, breathtakingly good! We also had a wedding album made and OMG its more than I ever thought it could be - takes me right back to that day! Everyone I have showed it to always says the same thing “wow this photographer is amazing these photos don’t look real they are that good” (truthfully!!) I couldn’t recommend Paul enough, I couldn’t be happier! By far the best wedding photographs I have ever seen and I’ve seen a lot! Just so happens they are mine!!! :) :) :)
