GORTON MONASTERY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

"I love being a wedding photographer at The Monastery in Gorton.
One of Manchester's finest venues and most splendid historical buildings"

GORTON MONASTERY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

I would say I am a regular wedding photographer for Gorton Monastery now as I have photographed several weddings there in recent years. Definitely a treat for a photographer like myself with a great interest in historical buildings, especially ones as magnificent as this and one of Manchester's finest wedding venues for certain. I have worked there in both Winter and Summer seasons though this time around I found myself back on the hottest, sunniest day of the year which proved very interesting with regards to the beautiful light that shone through the huge stained glass windows into the enormous interior.

The day itself started off as usual with bridal and groom photographs, moving to guest arrivals, bride and bridesmaids arriving and then straight into the ceremony itself and group photographs. I mainly shot the whole day in a photo-journalistic style to capture all the natural moments with plenty of guest shots interspersed with a short session for a few bride and groom portraits. This is Carla and Dominic's special day in brief for your perusal....

NICOLA & ASHLEY'S review

Paul. We cannot thank you enough for our amazing photographs and beautiful wedding album. You made us feel so relaxed on the day and we enjoyed having our photos taken which is a rarity for us but it was such fun. The majority of the day we did not even notice you there, but you certainly did not stop working hard and delivered so many wonderful photos that we cannot stop looking at them. Sooooo glad we chose you!. Nic & Ash x
