Formerly known as 30 James Street Hotel, this iconic Liverpool wedding venue is now White Star Line Hotel, located inside the historic Albion House at 30 James Street.

Once the headquarters of the famous White Star Line, the Grade II* listed building has an extraordinary connection to Liverpool's maritime history and the RMS Titanic. Today, its grand interiors, sweeping staircase and views across Liverpool's waterfront make it a distinctive setting for a city-centre wedding.

As a White Star Line Hotel wedding photographer, there is plenty here to work with. The historic architecture gives us a beautiful backdrop for elegant portraits, while its location puts some of Liverpool's most recognisable waterfront scenery within easy reach.

The Grand Hall provides an impressive setting for wedding celebrations, while the building's staircase, period details and character create plenty of opportunities for photographs without having to spend hours away from your guests.

Upstairs, the Quarter Deck brings something completely different, with rooftop views across Liverpool and the waterfront.

My approach combines natural documentary wedding photography with refined editorial portraits. I'll capture the laughter, reactions and genuine moments throughout your wedding as they happen, then give you simple, relaxed guidance when we create your couple portraits.

One of the advantages of getting married at the White Star Line Hotel is its location in the heart of Liverpool.

The waterfront, Three Graces and surrounding city streets give us plenty of possibilities if you'd like to step outside for a short portrait session. Alternatively, the character of Albion House means we can create beautiful photographs without going far at all.
